In case of early labor you might experience some diarrhea and nausea. You will start having progressively stronger uterine contractions that affect the whole uterus. You may also have back pain with the contractions.
Many health care providers suggest that their patients who have a normal pregnancy come to the hospital when the contractions occur every 5 minutes and last for 1 minute (the “5-1” rule). You can use the contraction timer to follow your contractions.
Find out early in your 3rd trimester when and how your health care provider wants to be contacted when you go into early labor.
