Measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine should not be administered to women known to be pregnant.
You should avoid becoming pregnant for one month after vaccination with any Rubella containing vaccine.
If vaccination occurs and you were unknowingly pregnant, or if you become pregnant within 4 weeks after receiving a Rubella containing vaccine, there is a theoretical risk for the baby. However, the risk is so small that it should not be regarded as a reason to terminate the pregnancy. Do speak to your health care provider if this occurs.
